Ice-cream

Feeling all hot and craving for ice-cream? Try this 'ice-cream' that won't melt! Of course it won't melt, it is made of card board and paper plates. :D
Paint a paper plate red and another yellow. You may paint it any colour as you wish and you may paint as many plates you like. Each colour will represent a scoop on your cone!
Just the middle part will do. Once dried, cut out a 'cloud' shape from each colour to form the 'ice-cream'

Get a recycle box to make the 'cone'. Draw a cone shape and line it with markers or colour pencil.

Once all is done, paste them all together. I added some glitters on the top of my ice-cream as 'toppings'!
Stick it onto a wall or anywhere as you wish. This ice-cream will never melt! :D

Envelope Bookmark

All you need is an old envelope, a craft scissors and some craft punch.
Cut the corner of an envelope and decorate it as you like.
The idea is to use the corner of an envelope as a bookmark. How you beautify it is up to you! Simple isn't it?

Peek-A-Boo Chick

There was once when I kept the eggs in my fridge for far too long that they turn bad. Then hubs jokingly said that luckily it turn bad, otherwise they will hatch! And then, I got an idea for this craft...
All I used was my old place mat and that scouring sponge? Is that what they call it? Some googly eyes and glue are needed too.
Got Ethan to outline the 'egg'.
Ready for assemble.
Cute? It's a gentle reminder to quickly consume the eggs before they hatch! :D

LadyBug Tea Light Holder

I was clearing my drawer when I saw many Chinese New Year greeting cards. Then it hit me, why not turn them into something beautiful, something useful...
Don't throw away your greeting cards. It is getting rare these days as many people opt to send virtual greetings instead...
Cut out a strip to wrap the tea light and a circle for the bug.
Cut out the head and some legs from black craft foam.
I flip through old magazines to find pages with black printout and cut out small circles for the dot on the bug's body. I also cut out my old place mat for the base of my bug.
Glue them all together and I got this beautiful tea light holder, from recyclable items! Simple!

Box House

Just a simple backdated post on craft from recyclable item. I converted this huge box to be a play house and Ethan simply love it!
